Terms of Service

The service

Kleos runs automated SEO and AEO analysis of websites and produces reports and recommendations. Reports are informational: they describe how your site presents to search engines and AI systems, and no ranking, citation, or traffic outcome is promised. What you do with a finding is your decision and your responsibility.

Your account

Keep your credentials to yourself and your account details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable use

Scan sites you own or are authorised to assess. Kleos fetches only publicly reachable pages, but directing it at a site to burden or probe it — rather than to assess your own presence — is misuse.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe its infrastructure, resell scan capacity, or use Kleos for anything unlawful.

Plans, billing, renewal

Paid plans are subscriptions billed through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing page, monthly or yearly, renewing automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; paid features run to the end of the period already paid for.

Every paid plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee, and switching tier or cadence is prorated — the details live in the refund policy, which is part of these terms.

Reports you unlocked while subscribed stay accessible to you after the subscription ends. What a subscription bought stays bought.

Your data

The URLs you submit and the reports generated from them are yours. You grant us the licence needed to fetch, analyse, store, and display them to you — that is, to run the product. Handling of personal data is covered by the privacy policy.

Availability and changes

Kleos is provided as-is, without an uptime guarantee. We ship changes continuously and may alter or retire features; if we discontinue the product entirely, prepaid time on paid plans will be refunded pro rata.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including decisions taken, or rankings changed, on the strength of a report.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice unless the breach makes that unreasonable.

Governing law, changes, contact
